Our Wines
Says Andreas Laible sen.: “Our vines grow under perfect conditions: a sun-flooded southern slope, stony soils that store the warmth of the sun during the day and keep the vines warm during the night and a mild micro-climate: this is exactly what our vines love”.
This gives the Laible wines their unique mineral character. The grapes have a fruity and balanced character, which they lend to the complex wines they yield. Fermentation is done in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, using natural yeast whenever possible. Sometimes, tanks as small as 500L are used to ferment the grapes from the extremely diversified terroir to bring out the different character of these outstanding wines.
